To support the vulnerable and affected people by provision of ration during the Holy month of Ramazan, Muslim Aid in collaboration with Qidwai Welfare Projects distributed food packs in Rashaki, Noshehra, Tarlai Center, Islamabad, Sawal Dher, Mardan. 300 families were benefited from this distribution amounting Rs. 1,000,500.
While highlighting Muslim Aid seasonal programme, Programme Officer Iqba Shahid said that Muslim Aid not only respond to disasters but it invites donors from various parts of the country to respond the needs of vulnerable.
The main objective of this project is to provide the food accessibility to poor, vulnerable and flood-affected communities, contribute to provide foods aid to vulnerable segments of community such as poor families, orphans and families headed by widows and displaced persons, he said.
We focus to provide food items of good quality to meet the nutrition needs of the low income and affected people, provide a chance to donors take part in important Islamic practice and help the poor when they are in need.
