Islamabad ,July 21: Muslim Aid Pakistan and Possibilities together distributed bicycles among poor and deserving children in Lahore on last Friday. The distribution was made under the theme of “My First Bike” initiative through which 1000 Bikes will be delivered to the poor children all across the country.
The distribution ceremony was held in The Punjab School Township Lahore where teams from Muslim Aid and Possibilities including selected children and their parents together assembled the bikes on spot before the distribution.
Speaking to the media the Country Director Muslim Aid Khobaib Vahedy told that the initiative was taken by Possibilities CEO Qaiser Abbas and has been endorsed by Muslim Aid positively . He revealed that the main purpose of this initiative is to bring smiles on the faces of marginalized children by fulfilling their dream of first bike. He added that the next distribution ceremony will be held in Islamabad.
