Flood Emergency Response
2-day early recovery planning held

Multan, Oct 12: Under the aegis of its emergency programme, Muslim Aid arranged a two days early recovery planning workshop for provincial and district coordinators who are engaged in flood emergency response in different areas of the country. Staff from Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Charsadda, Nowshehra, Sukkur, Thatta, Shekarpur and Jampur attended the workshop in Multan.     
Different training and brainstorming sessions were conducted for the staff. Planning for new interventions, challenges on ground, so far gaps and further effective delivery were the focal points which were discussed in two days.
Provincial coordinators and staff from different districts shared their ideas and assessments for rehabilitation phase. Detailed discussions, presentations and formats were shared with the staff to fill the gaps and to work efficiently for flood-hit communities.  
A comprehensive planning for one year was set.  While providing relief and rehabilitation to suffering people next targets, activities were planned in the light of HQs guidelines.
