Girls high school donated to Muslim Aid by Local Philanthropist

Keeping in view the support rendered by Muslim Aid Pak, an international humanitarian organization, serving humanity in more than 70 countries ,the management of ‘Muhammadpura Girls High School, in a remote village Muhammadpura of Tehsil Pattoki, some 70 km away from Lahore, has decided to hand over the school with all its resources including the campus spread over 19 kanal land, school bus and a Suzuki van, donated by Muslim Aid Pak. Muslim Aid Pak will have complete operational rights and registration of the school in its name.
Country Director Muslim Aid Pak Mr. Khobaib A Vahedy here on Thursday, while informing about the significant development, said that the school was being run by two philanthropist ladies Ms. Umme-Sabahat and Ms. Rubina Tahseen for last10 years with untiring and selfless efforts, commitment and dedication .He Said “The project is one of the best examples of philanthropy by British Pakistani ladies, We had donated them a School van and also helped them to run the school for the mitigation of illiteracy from this otherwise neglected area,” Mr. Vahedy mentioned that Muslim Aid Pak had also established three science labs and one computer lab in the school to provide advanced learning opportunities for the female students of this underprivileged area. He further described that Ms Umme Sabahat the owner of the school made a request to the Muslim Aid Pak to take up the project under its umbrella ,which was happily accepted . Muhammadpura School is fully functional with 450 plus students and providing educational services in the remote village area of Tehsil Pattoki, District Qasoor.”
“As it is one of the big donations in kind to Muslim Aid in Pakistan, we have planned to take it as a model project with long term vision to serve the existing community and replication of the similar projects by setting best examples of excellence in the field of education with quality and standards,” Mr. Vahedy stated. He expressed the hope that through teamwork and dedicated efforts, Muslim Aid will be able to make it one of the best schools of the area in a very short span of time.
