Muslim Aid organised a certificate distribution ceremony at its Skills Development Centre (SDC) Hunerkada here on Tuesday.
A total of 340 female students of Muslim Aid Hunerkada were awarded with certificates under various courses, including ceramic work, English language, computer skills, sewing & cutting, adda work and professional skills training.
Muslim Aid-Pakistan Chairman Lt. Gen (r) Khalid Latif Moghal was the chief guest on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion, he appreciated the efforts of Muslim Aid staff for imparting technical and marketable skills to youth of underprivileged areas of the country.
He offered all out support to strength and recognising the skills of the students of Muslim Aid Hunerkada under its microfinance programme. An amount of Rs. 20 thousand was given away to the students who took positions in the courses.
Muslim Aid Country Director Khobaib A Vahedy, Programme Manager Syed Mooezuddin, Ex Chairman Baitulmal Raja Mujahid Afsar, officials of NGOs and civil society members participated in the certificate distribution ceremony. |
