Muslim Aid provides a relief of Rs 50 million
- Muslim Aid is extending its support to different parts of the country to help flood affected people.
- Muslim Aid was among the first charities to launch an appeal to help flood affectees, and it had upgraded its appeal from £100,000 to £2million in UK.
- So Far Muslim Aid provided a relief of Rs 50 million
- There are massive challenges on the ground to provide rescue, food, clean water, medicines and shelter.
- It is the collective responsibility of all the stake holders to stand united and make the various emergency appeals successful in helping the flood-hit people.
- We urge the international community to help the people of Pakistan. The level of damages in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, Sindh, AJK, Gilgit-Baltistan and Balochistana (flood-hit areas) were so great that it would require many years of permanent commitment to the affectees rebuild their future.
